Clinical Application of multislice helical CT with Curved Planar Reformation of the Facial Nerve Canal in Cholestoma

Abstrat

　　Objective：To assess the clinical application of the multislice helical CT curved planar reformation（CPR） of the facial nerve in otitis with cholestoma.

　　Method：The CPR images of 89 patients with cholestoma otitis were anatomized，the distance between the facial nerve canal and the landmarks were measured on the image of CPR.

　　Result：28 patients with destruction of facial nerve canal were found in surgy，CPR could show the destrucion and measure the length（P﹥0.05），CPR images could show the relation of the facial nerve canal with the focus，and measure the distance between the surgical landmarks and facial nerve canal.

　　Clusion：The CPR of the high resolution computed tomography was a superexcellent method to provide the modality observation of the facial canal for every patient，can be favorable to decrease facial neve hurting.
