ABSTRACT

　　Objective: To evaluate the clinical application of multi-slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) in developmental anomaly of aorta.

　　Methods: CT angiography of 14 cases which proved by ultrasound were finished by CTA.

　　Result: The abnormal signs of stenosis, abnormal origin and collateral circulation of aortay were displayed in 4 cases of congenital coarctation, 2 cases of interruption, 2 cases of dextropoaortic arch and 1 case of coarctation of  aorta accompanied by commumicating with pulmonary artery. The tear site of dissection were displayed in 3 cases of Marfans syndromes.

Coarctation of abdominal aorta were found in 2 cases.

　　Conclusion: The CT angiography of multi-slice spiral CT can display the developmental anomaly of aorta and formation of collateral circulation correctly.
