Abstract

　　Objective：To investigate the set－up and characteristics of the interactive tele－radiologic System （IATRS）.

　　Methods：Local area network（LAN） of junior hospital with firewall and ADSL Modem was connected into internet，then into the Virtual private network（VPN） server of the affiliated hospital of GuiYang Medical College（GMCAH） through anti－firewall of GMCAH. The VPN tunnel was acquired and LAN of junior hospital was connected into the PACS server of GMCAH，which made the same radioligic data was been shared by GMCAH and junior hospital.

　　Results：The images and study information of junior hospital have been transmitted the PACS server of GMCAH with security and lossless. The conference results have returned the junior hospital. IATRS is too high speed and good images.

　　Conclusion：IATRS is good and worth to be popularized.
